Jovanović (Đorđe) Zoran (Skoplje 06. April 1936. – Beograd 29. Oktobar 2004.), pedagog, pijanista, kompozitor.

Biografija

Studije klavira završio je na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu u klasi profesorke Jelice Popović, 1961. godine. Na istom fakultetu magistrira 1963. godine. Svoju umetničku karijeru započeo je kao pijanista, brojnim nastupima u zemlji, kao solista ali i kao kamerni muzičar i klavirski pratilac (korepetitor) vokalnih i instrumentalnih solista. U periodu od 1967. do 1969. godine usavršavao se na „Juilliard School of Music“ u klasi profesorke Rosine Lhevinne. U SAD nastavlja sa koncertiranjem, takođe kao solista i kao pratilac vokalnih solista u okviru nekoliko turneja po američkim državama. Kao izvođač osvojio je prvu nagradu za interpretaciju Šopena na međunarodnom Šopenovom takmičenju održanom u Beogradu. Od 1961. godine radi kao muzički saradnik na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu, a od 1969-1978. i kao predavač gde stiče i zvanje docenta. 1978. godine prelazi na Akademiju umetnosti Novi Sad, gde na predmetu kamerna muzika stiče i zvanje redovnog profesora akademije i funkciju šefa kamernog odseka, koju je i obavljao do završetka karijere. U kraćem periodu predaje na Muzičkoj akademiji u Prištini. Osnivač je Festivala kamerne muzike u Beogradu, osnovanom u saradnji sa Beogradskim kulturnim centrom. Komponovao je nekoliko stotina instrumentalnih, vokalnih i muzičko-scenskih dela među kojima su preko 200 koncertnih solo pesama, 8 končertina, koncert za klavir, solistička i kamerna dela za gudačke instrumente, 8 dečjih opera, 2 jednočine komične opere i preko 500 pesama za decu. Za solo pesme dobija nagrade na konkursu “Racinovi susreti“ 1973.  godine u Skoplju za ciklus “Bela svitanja“, Prvu nagradu u konkursu  za (solo pesmu), song Radio Beograda, nagradu “Karađorđe“ za solo pesmu “Djordjije“, nagradu grada Beograda za solo pesmu “Djevo vladičice“, kao i više nagrada širom Srbije za dečje stvaralaštvo.

Stvaralački opus

Početkom 1970-ih godina prof. Zoran Jovanović karijeru izvođača sve više zamenjuje pedagoškim i kompozitorskim radom, koji započinje pisanjem solo pesama za glas i klavir, a uz nastavak rada kao korepetitor. U saradnji sa tenorom Dušanom Jankovićem snimio je veliki broj solo pesama domaćih autora (Dušan Janković kasnije postaje i najčešći izvođač pesama Zorana Jovanovića i saradnik na realizaciji ciklusa “Lisje žuti“, “Šta sanjam i šta mi se događa“, “Radost stvaranja“, “Bela svitanja“). Konačno, krajem 1970-ih godina, usled zdravstvenih problema u jednom prstu leve ruke, prestaje sa solističkim interpretiranjem. U tom periodu nastaje i najveći broj solo pesama ovog autora. Posebnu inspiraciju nalazio je u stihovima domaćih pesnika,  pre svega stvaralaštvu Desanke Maksimović, te sa entuzijazmom stvara solo pesme na stihove naše najveće pesnikinje ali i ostalih velikih srpskih i jugoslovenskih pesnika, Vojislava Ilića, Ive Andrića, Dejana Medakovića, Jovana Jovanovića Zmaja, Miroslava Mike Antića, Ljubivoja Ršumovića, Kočo Racina.

Poznanstvo sa pesnicima, njihova svesrdna podrška u realiciji muzičkih aranžmana stihova, kao i  stvaralački naboj koji je u to vreme bio prisutan u stvaralačkim krugovima, dali su podstrekački polet za nastajanje ovih pesama i njihovo izvođenje u okviru niza večeri, svečanosti i jubileja. U okviru antologije “Dela naših muzičkih stvaralaca komponovana na stihove Desanke Maksimović“, prof. Vladimir Jovanović navodi : “Zoran Jovanović je napisao najveći broj kompozicija na stihove Desanke Maksimović — dvadeset jednu pesmu za solo glas bez instrumentalne pratnje, devetnaest pesama za glas i klavir, trinaest pesama za decu za glas i klavir i muzičku priču za decu “Medvedova ženidba“ za osam solista i kamerni orkestar ili klavir“. Desanku Maksimović, posebno je radovalo muzičko stvaralaštvo inspirsano njenim stihovima. Tako,  prof. Jovanović u stvaralačkom procesu, upravo od nje dobija i prve osvrte na svoje pesme, prve komentare, preporuke i kritike.
Sa druge strane, dobra organizacija i aktivno učešće državnih institucija, a pre svega Muzičke omladine, dali su podstreka za stvaranje niza dečjih pesama na stihove domaćih autora, kao i nekoliko opera za decu pre svega na stihove Desanke Maksimović, Branka Ćopića i Vanča Nikoleskog. Sa pesnikom Rankom Simovićem i kolegom Vladimirom Jovanovićem, a uz podršku Muzičke omladine, u nekoliko navrata obilaze dečje ustanove u Srbiji predstavljajući dečje pesme i muzičko stvaralaštvo. Zajedno sa brojnim kolegama i prijateljima uspešno realizuju izvođenja dečjih opera na scenama u Beogradu, dok one svoju najpotpuniju realizaciju ostvaruju u više navrata na sceni Srpskog narodnog pozorišta u Novom Sadu, gde su u poslednji put deci predstavljane u periodu od 2000. do 2002. godine.
Solo pesme organizovane su u nekoliko zbirki  - “Spomenik Desanki od tonova satkan“, “Lisje žuti“ , “U poznu jesen“, “Raspoloženja“, a potom u okviru ciklusa koji su sledili tematiku zadatu od strane samih pesnika. Dečje pesme organizovane su u okviru zbirki – “U vrtiću svakog dana“, “Dar uz Bukvar“, “Au što je škola zgodna, Ala je lep ovaj svet“ ....
Paralelno sa solo pesmama i dečjim pesmama, Zoran Jovanović u prvoj deceniji svoga stvaralaštva piše i nekoliko virtuoznih komada za gudačke instrumente, kao i kraće komade za solo klavir, od kojih su neki gupisani u okviru zbirki-udžbenika za potrebe pedagoškog rada u srednjim i nižim muzičkim školama.
U narednom stvaralačkom periodu od 1990. do 2000. godine posvećuje se instrumentalnim delima. Instumentalna dela su najvećim delom bila pisana za kamerne sastave. 8 končertina nastala u tom periodu obuhvataju 3 končertina za klavir, 3 končertina za violinu, jedan za violončelo i jedan za flautu. Prati ih više dela za gudački orkestar i kvartet. U okviru ovih dela dominiraju izvorni i narodni motivi, a sam autor je smatrao da njihova kombinatorika najbolje prikazuje pomešanost osećanja i raspoloženja radosti, razigranosti, igre, brige, ljubavi, bola, patnje u okviru umetničkog dela. Konačno krajem 90-ih godina nastaje i veliki klavirski koncert, posvećen prijateljstvu i kumstvu sa Tanjom i Janezom Merčun prijateljima sa studija u Beogradu, zaljubljenicima u klasičnu muziku i predanim saradnicima brojnih izvođača iz Srbije. Nizom koncerata, ova dela predstavila su se beogradskoj publici, a autor upotpunjuje svaralački period čestim osvrtima na pesme aktuelnih pesnika i komponovanjem solo pesama i dela za decu (zbirke “Telefon“, “Azbuka“, muzičke priče “Nesrećna kafina“, “Baš čelik“, “Deda i repa“ ..)
Krajem života Zoran Jovanović se posvetio katalogizaciji i prikupljanju muzičkih priča i opera za decu pisanih od strane srpskih kompozitora, kao i organizaciji Dečje muzičke olimpijade u saradnji sa pesnikinjom Dušankom Bojičić, no ovi projekti nisu dovršeni. 2002. godine u izdanju zadužbine Desanke Maksimović u Beogradu izlazi knjiga “Spomenik Desanki od tonova satkan“ sa notnim zapisima i audio sadržajem solo pesama koje je autor pisao na stihove poznate pesnikinje. Na ovom izdanju našli su se snimci ostvareni sa solistima sa kojima je saradnja bila u periodu nastanka kompozicija (Dragica Nikolić Tanasković, Mirjana Vlaović...), ali i snimci sa pevačima koji su se u tim trenucima afirmisali (Verica Pejić tada Zubović, Marija Debić, Dijana Martinović tada Lončarević, Izabela Gužvanj, Katarina Bradić, Ana Bojić i drugi).

Jovanović (Djordje) Zoran (Skopje 1936 - Belgrade 2004), educator, pianist, composer.


Zoran Jovanović completed his piano studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Professor Jelica Popović, in 1961. Achieved his magister degree at the same university in 1963.  His artistic career began as a pianist, with a number of performances in the country as a soloist and as a chamber musician and piano accompanist of vocal and instrumental soloists. During the period from 1967 to1969 studied at the "Juilliard School of Music" in the class of Professor Rosine Lhevinne. During his stay in the United States continues with concerts, also as a soloist and accompanist of vocal soloists within several tours in the U.S. states. As a performer, he won first prize for interpretation of Chopin at the International Chopin Competition held in Belgrade. In 1961 started to work as a music assistant at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, and  in a period from 1969 to 1978 as a lecturer and assistant and gains a title of professor. In 1978. started to work at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where as professor of the chamber music acquired the title of full professor in the Academy and Head of the Department of the chamber music, which he held until the end of his career. In a short period he was teaching at the Academy of Music in Priština. Zoran Jovanović was founder of the Chamber Music Festival in Belgrade, founded in cooperation with the Belgrade Cultural Centre. He has composed hundreds of instrumental, vocal and stage pieces including over 200 concerts solo songs, 8 Concertinos, Concerto for piano, solo and chamber works for string instruments, eight children's opera, 2 single-act comic operas and over 500 songs for children . For solo songs he received awards at the competition, "Racinovi susreti” (eng. “Racin meetings") in 1973., In Skopje for the cycle “Bela svitanja” (eng."The White Dawns") of the famous Macedonian poet Kočo Racin, the first prize in the competition for  song (solo song) or Radio Belgrade, the "Karađorđe" award for solo song, "Djordjije" and Award of Belgrade for solo song "Djevo Vladičice " (“Holly mother”) as well as several awards throughout Serbia for creative work for children'.


Creative periods and Opus
At the beginning of the 1970s prof. Zoran Jovanović career of artis is increasingly replaced by educational and composing work. Composing began with writings of songs for solo voice and piano, but was also followed by continued work as an accompanist. In collaboration with tenor Dušan Janković  he made ​​a number of solo songs on the verses of local academic authors (Dušan Janković later became a common contractor for songs of Zoran Jovanović and contributor to the realization of the series “Lisje žuti” (eng."Yellow Leaves"),”Šta sanjam i šta mi se događa” (eng. "What I dream and what is happening to me"), “Radosti stvaranja” (eng."Joy of creation") and “Bela svitanja”” (eng."The White dawns"). Finally, in the late 1970s, due to health problems in one finger of the left hand, his career of pianist  stopped. During this period he produced the highest number of solo songs. Special inspiration he found in the lyrics of local poets, especially creative  poet Desanka Maksimović and enthusiastically created solo songs on poems of our greatest poets and other major Serbian and Yugoslav poets, Vojislav Ilić, Ivo Andrić, Dejan Medaković, Jovan Jovanović Zmaj, Miroslav Mika Antić, Ljubivoje Ršumović, Kočo Racin.

Acquaintance with the poets, their wholehearted support in realization of musical arrangements of their verses, and the creative energy that is at that time present in creative circles, gave the incendiary enthusiasm for the formation of these songs and their performance within a number of nights, celebrations and anniversaries. Within the anthology
Dela naših muzičkih stvaralaca komponovana na stihove Desanke Maksimović“, (eng."Compositions composed on the verses of Desanka Maksimović") prof. Vladimir Jovanović said: "Zoran Jovanović wrote the biggest number of the compositions on the lyrics of Desanka Maksimović - twenty-one song for solo voice without instrumental accompaniment, nineteen songs for voice and piano, thirteen songs for children for voice and piano and musical story for children”Medvedova ženidba” (eng. “Bear marriage")  for eight soloists and chamber orchestra or piano. Desanka Maksimović, especially rejoiced musical creativity inspired with her ​​lyrics. Thus, prof. Jovanović  in the creative process, directly from her gets the first review of its songs, the first comments, recommendations and criticisms.

On the other hand, good organization and active participation of state institutions, especially the “”Muzička omladina” (eng. Musical Youth), gave impetus to the creation of a series of children's songs on poems by local authors, as well as several operas  for children especially on the verses of Desanka Maksimović, Branko Ćopić Vanče Nikoleski. With poet Ranko Simović and his colleague Vladimir Jovanović, and with the support of the Musical Youth, repeatedly visited children's institutions in Serbia, representing children's songs and musical creativity. Together with a numerous colleagues and friends, there were successfully implemented performances on children opera scenes in Belgrade.  They realized the operas repeatedly on the stage of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad. The last representation was on stage in the period from 2000 to 2002
Solo songs are organized in several collections – “Spomenik Desanki od tonova satkan(eng."A Monument to Desanka composed of tones"), “Lisje žuti” (eng,"Yellow Leaves"), “U poznu jesen” (eng."At the late fall"), “Raspoloženja” (eng. "Moods"), and later in the series that followed the topic given by the poet himself. Children's songs are organized within collections – “U vrtiću svakog dana” (eng. "Every  kindergarten day" ), “Dar uz bukvar” (eng. "A Gift along the Alphabet"), “Au što je škola zgodna” (eng."Wow how nice the school is"), “Ala je lep ovaj svet” (eng. "How beautiful this world is")....  
Along with solo songs and children songs, Zoran Jovanović, in the first decade of his creative writing writes several virtuoso pieces for string instruments, as well as short pieces for solo piano, some of which are grouped within collections-textbooks for pedagogical work in high and primary music schools. The next creative period from 1990 to 2000 was devoted to instrumental works. Instrumental works for the most part were written for chamber ensembles. 8 Concertinos occurred in this period including  three Concertinos for Piano, 3 Concertinos for violin, a cello and a flute. Following them were work for string quartet and orchestra. Within these works dominated native and folk motifs, and the author believed that their combinatory best shows immixture of feelings,  moods, joy, playfulness, game, care, love, pain and suffering within an artwork. Finally at the end of the 90's he created a  piano concerto, dedicated to friendship and with Tanya and Janez Merčun, friends from the period of studies in Belgrade, lovers of classical music and dedicated associates of numerous artists from Serbia. At series of concerts, these works were presented to the Belgrade audience. The author completed the creativity  period with frequent references to contemporary song writers and composed songs and solo pieces for children (collections: “Telefon” (eng."Telephone"), “Azbuka” (eng."Alphabet") musical stories “Nesrećna Kafina” (eng. "Poor Kafina"), “Baš čelik” ("Head of steel",), “Deda i repa” (“Grandpa  and a teep "..)

End of life of Zoran Jovanović is committed to collecting and cataloging music and opera stories for children written by Serbian composers, as well as the organization of the Children's Musical Olympiad in collaboration with poet Dušanka Bojičić, but these projects have not been completed. Year 2002 a publication by Zadužbina Desanke Maksimović, (eng.“Endowment of Desanka Maksimović”) called “Spomenik Desanki od tonova satkan
(eng."A Monument to Desanka composed of tones") sorted. A book  is collection of music sheet and audio recordings of solo songs that the author wrote to the verses of the famous poet. On this release, one can find the recordings made ​​with soloists with whom cooperation was at the period of the creation of the compositions (Dragica Nikolić Tanasković, Mirjana Vlaović ...), but also recordings with singers who were becoming affirmed at the moment of publication (Verica Pejić nee Zubović, Marija Debić, Dijana Martinović nee Loncarević, Izabela Gužvanj, Katarina Bradić, Ana Bojić and others).
